1.        GAME BALLS PROVIDED ONLY. YOUR TEAM WILL NEED TO PROVIDE
BALLS FOR WARM-UPS.

2.        Admission charges are as follows:  Adults-$7/day, Students $6/day,
Children 4 years and under:  Free.  Adult tournament passes will be available
for $18 while student tournament passes will be $15. Two day passes will be
sold on the second day at $13 for adults and $11 for students. Single day
tickets are good for all four gym locations that day.

3.        Players, coaches, two managers, videographer, and scorekeepers will
be admitted free of charge provided they sit with the team during their game.
All other team guests will be charged daily admission.

4.        All athletic directors, other coaches, and principals who carry the
NCHSAA athletic pass will be admitted free of charge.

5.        The home team will be the official book, but both teams will need to
provide a scorekeeper.  They will remain at the score table throughout the
game.  Since the home team is the official book, it is very important that the
visiting team provide an EXPERIENCED scorekeeper in case there is a
discrepancy in the two books.

6.        Team trophies and individual medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
place teams.  An MVP and an All-Tournament team will also be selected by the
tournament committee.  Each team will have at least one representative on the
All-Tournament Team.

7.        There will be 14-16 teams playing at three gym sites and 8 teams playing
at Randleman High School. However, due to limited space please tell your
players to keep all valuables at home. Neither the YMCA nor the Randolph
County Schools WILL BE RESPONSIBLE for any lost or stolen items at any time
during the tournament.
8.        A room or area will be provided for your team before the game and at
halftime.

9.        All games are scheduled 1-1/2 hours apart with 10 minutes between
games and 10 minutes at half-time.  If the tournament gets behind schedule,
pre-game warm-ups and half-time will be reduced to 8 minutes.

10.       With the tournament growing so rapidly the last few years, the prestige
of winning the tournament has also grown. Consequently, we have had more
incidences from fans regarding their behavior. Please remind your fan base
that they are representing your school and to act appropriately.

11.       There will be 14 teams playing in the “Green” Division at the Randolph-
Asheboro YMCA. If you are one of those teams, please be aware that this court
is a full college size court of 94 feet. Therefore, make sure you tell your players
not to set the offense up too high once they cross mid-court. Make sure they
understand there is an additional 5 feet on each side of the court compared to
what they are used to playing.

12.        Even though the top team in the bracket is the home team, please bring
both sets of uniforms for each game in the event a team shows up with the
wrong color of uniform.

13.        Tournament T-shirts will be available at each location for $10 each.  The
concession stand will also be open at all times at the four locations.

14.        Directions to the Randolph-Asheboro YMCA, Southwestern Randolph
High School, Southwestern Randolph Middle School, and Randleman High
School are included in your packet.  If these directions are unclear, please use
MapQuest or call the YMCA at (336) 625-1976.

15.        THERE WILL BE NO ATHLETIC TRAINER AT ANY OF THE SITES. WE WILL
HAVE A FIRST AID KIT ON HAND TO HANDLE MINOR PROBLEMS ONLY. IF THIS IS
A CONCERN, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BRING YOUR ATHLETIC TRAINER WITH YOU.

16.        We would encourage you to bring your JV cheerleaders to the
tournament as well. They will be admitted free of charge. We will be presenting
a SPIRIT AWARD to the best squad in each division.

17.        The Holiday Inn Express is our official hotel sponsor. Their website is
www.hiexpress.com if you need more information about the hotel. Their normal
rate is $89/night plus tax for up to 4 people in a room, but if you tell them you
are a player, coach, or parent involved with our tournament, they will reduce
the rate to $65/night plus tax. They also provide a nice hot breakfast every
morning. Their phone # is: (336)636-5222.

18.        All proceeds from the tournament benefit the YMCA Scholarship Fund.
These funds allow the YMCA to continue the philosophy of never turning
anyone away due to lack of ability to pay.

19.        Remember you have obligated your team(s) to play all 3 games in the
tournament.  Just one team not showing up for ALL THREE GAMES creates a
“domino” effect on the brackets which causes up to 3 additional teams to not
get to play their full allotment of games. Consequently, we want to remind you
that your school will be billed $150/game/day for each game they miss. This
charge goes to cover referees, clock operators, announcers, janitors, and
other game site personnel that we are obligated to pay regardless of whether
that particular game is played or not.
