1. GAME BALLS PROVIDED ONLY; YOUR TEAM WILL NEED TO PROVIDE BALLS FOR WARM-UPS.
2. Admission charges are as follows: Adults-TBA/day, Students-TBA/day, Children 4 years and under: Free. Adult and student tournament passes will be available. All single day tickets are good for all three gym locations that day.
3. Players, coaches, two managers, videographer, and scorekeeper's will be admitted free of charge provided they sit with the team during their game. All other team guests will be charged daily admission.
4. All athletic directors, other coaches, and principals who carry the NCHSAA athletic pass will be admitted free of charge.
5. The home team will be the official book, but both teams will need to provide a scorekeeper. They will remain at the score table throughout the game. Since the home team is the official book, it is very important that the visiting team provide an EXPERIENCED scorekeeper in case there is a discrepancy in the two books.
6. Team trophies and individual medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. An MVP and an All-Tournament team will also be selected by the tournament committee. Each team will have at least one representative on the All-Tournament Team.
7. There will be 16 teams playing at each gym site. However, due to limited space please tell your players to keep all valuables at home. Neither the YMCA nor the Randolph County Schools WILL BE RESPONSIBLE for any lost or stolen items at any time during the tournament.
8. A room or area will be provided for your team before the game and at halftime.
9. All games are scheduled 1-1/2 hours apart with 10 minutes between games and 10 minutes at half-time. If the tournament gets behind schedule, pre-game warm-ups and half-time will be reduced to 8 minutes.
10. With the tournament growing so rapidly the last few years, the prestige of winning the tournament has also grown. Consequently, we have had more incidences from fans regarding their behavior. Please remind your fan base that they are representing your school and to act appropriately.
11. Please make sure you e-mail your roster to David Cross by no later than Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Please include all players and coaches on your roster. Please include numbers for the players as well as their grade level (freshman or sophomore) because we will print a tournament program at no charge for the fans. 12. Even though the top team in the bracket is the home team, please bring both sets of uniforms for each game in the event a team shows up with the wrong color of uniform.
13. Tournament T-shirts will be available at each location for $10 each. The concession stand will also be open at all times at the three locations.
14. Directions to the Randolph-Asheboro YMCA, Southwestern Randolph High School, and Southwestern Randolph Middle School are included in your packet. If these directions are unclear, please call the YMCA at (336) 625-1976.
15. We would encourage you to bring your JV cheerleaders to the tournament as well. They will be admitted free of charge. We will be presenting a SPIRIT AWARD to the best squad in each division.
16. All proceeds from the tournament benefit the YMCA Scholarship Fund. These funds allow the YMCA to continue the philosophy of never turning anyone away due to lack of ability to pay.
