Good Times with Good Friends.
Randolph-Asheboro YMCA
The Randolph-Asheboro YMCA's Support Our Student's Program is
designed to meet the social, physical, developmental and educational
needs of middle-school youth. The program operates after-school until
6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Homework assistance is offered each day,
along with a variety of diverse programs to promote leadership skills,
self-identity, academic success and community service.

* Uwharrie Middle School, Judy Hauser, Site Director
Activities Include:
* Devotions
* Field trips
* Community Service Projects
* YMCA Teen Christian Leadership Conferences
* Arts & Crafts
* Team-Building Exercises
* Sports
* Games
* Tutoring & Mentoring
Community Service Projects Include:
* Making packages for soldiers with local churches
* Red Cross Blood Drives
* Holiday Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army
* Cleaning local parks & the YMCA
* Teddy Bear Drive with local fire dept.
* Visiting Nursing Homes
* Project Linus Blanket Making for Victory Junction Gang Camp
* School Site & YMCA Beautification
* Human Race Walk
* NC BIG Sweep with the NC ZOO
* Samaritans Purse
Cost: One-time Registration Fee: $25.00
Weekly Fee: $30.00 (to help cover the cost of activities)
